   Training specialists in pharmaceutical industry is impossible without fundamental knowledge . Classes like Higher Mathematics , Physics , Biophysics contribute to the formation of students’ analytical thinking, a holistic perception of the world .

   There are the following classes in the department – Physics, Biophysics, Higher Mathematics, Physical Methods of Analysis, Electrical and Electronics Basics, Medical and Biological Physics, Mathematics for Economists and Econometrics. The main research areas of the department staff: thermal effects of laser radiation and their applications in measurement technology , the use of electromagnetic radiation and low-temperature plasma in medicine and biology. The department staff consists of 3 Professors , 7 Associate professors , 3 Senior  Lecturers , 3 Lecturers , 4 of them are doctors , 9 PhDs.
