Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Assoc. Prof.

Graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics (now Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics) in 1972 (specialty “Electronic computers”).

Career. From 1972 he was engineer, 1975 Senior engineer of the Kharkov department of design and installation works of the Scientific and Production Association “Cascade”. From 1977 to 1980 he was Head of the machine at the cluster information-computing center of the Ukrorgtekhstroy Institute. From 1980 he was Lead Engineer, from 1986 Researcher, of Head of Laboratory Sector No.9 of The Institute for Single Crystals (Kharkiv), from 1992 Head of the department of automated information processing laboratory №9 The Institute for Single Crystals (Kharkiv). In 1986 – 1990 he was PhD student in A. Podgorny Institute of Mechanical Engineering Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From 1993 he was Head of Operations Department of The Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Academy; 1994-1.02.2018 Director of computer center. From 1996 he was associate professor of Engineering and information technology, from 2007 associate professor of Department of Pharmacoinformatics. In 1.02.2018 he was re-elected on the post of associate professor of Department of Pharmacoinformatics. From 2019 he is associate professor of Department of Biophysics and Information Technologies.

Educational and Methodical work. He gives lectures on courses “Information Technology in Pharmacy”, “Information Systems and Technologies in Logistics”, “Information Relationship Management”.

Scientific and Research work. In 1991 PhD in Engineering Sciences, PhD thesis “Mathematical and software of CAD subsystems of rational cutting of single crystals”.
His research interests include the use of information technology and applied mathematical methods in pharmaceutical, biological and chemical research. As well as computer simulation of biological and chemical processes.
Co-author of 18 research articles, report abstracts and 1 monograph.
In 2018 Vlasov V. S. has finished the course “Postgraduate psychological and pedagogical education of scientific and pedagogical workers of pharmaceutical and medical universities”.

Awards. Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Certificate of Merit of Kharkov, four certificates of honor of the National University of Pharmacy.
