Dr. Oleksandr ArsenievPhD (candidate) in Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Assoc. Prof.

Graduated from the radiophysical faculty of the A.M. Gorky Kharkov State University (1976), majoring in radiophysics and electronics.

Teaching positions. From 1976 to 1979, a junior researcher at the Research Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From 1979 to 1986, a junior researcher, from 1986 to 1996 a research fellow at the Department of Plasma Physics at the Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From 1996 to 1997, he was a senior lecturer, from 1997 to 2004 an associate professor of Biophysics, Computer Science and Medical Equipment Department of the Kharkov State Medical University. Since 2004, Associate Professor of the Information Technology Department of the National University of Pharmacy, since 2007 associate professor of the Pharmacoinformatics Department, since 2019 associate professor of the Biophysics and Information Technology Department.

Educational and Methodical work. He gives lectures on courses of “Medical Informatics”, “Information systems and technology in economics and marketing “. In 2000 he received the title of Associate Professor. Co-author of 2 textbooks (Medical and Biological Physics, Part II: Laboratory Practice: Course Book for Foreign Students / Х.: ХГМУ , 2004), 9 manuals (Lectures on Biophysics, Part III (Optics), Kharkov, KhSMU, 1998; Laboratory Workshop on the course “Biophysics, Computer Science and Medical Equipment” Kharkov, KhSMU, 1998, Lectures on Biophysics Part II (Electricity in Kharkov, KhSMU, 1999; Laboratory Practice on Biophysics, Kharkov, KhSMU, 2000. Biophysics, Computer Science and Medical Equipment, Part II, Kharkov, KhSMU, 2000. Fundamentals of Medical Informatics. Part I and II., Kharkov, KhSMU, 2002; Medical and Biological Physics. Part I and II, Kharkov, KhSMU, 2003) and 3 methodical recommendations.

Scientific and Research work. In 1993 he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences on the topic “Dynamics of runaway electrons in the Uragan-2 stellarator”. Author of more than 100 scientific and scientific-methodical publications and 13 copyright certificates. Since 2000, he has specialized in applied mathematical statistics in the fields of medicine, pharmacy and biology.

Social activity. He is an individual member of the Ukrainian Association “Computer Medicine”.
