Dr. Marina NessonovaPhD (candidate) in Engineering Sciences, Assoc. Prof.

Graduated from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (2001), Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, with degree in Mathematics (as “mathematician, teacher of mathematics and informatics”).

Teaching positions. From 2001 to 2004 – junior assistant member of teaching and research staff of Information Technology department of Ukrainian pharmaceutical Academy, from 2004 – junior member of teaching and research staff of Information Technology department of National University of Pharmacy, from 2007 – junior member of teaching and research staff of Pharmacoinformatics department, since 2016 – assistant professor of Pharmacoinformatics department, since 2019 – associated professor of Biophysics and Information Technology department.

Educational and Methodical work. Does lecturing on “Computer technology in medicines researches”, “Computer technology in perfumes and cosmetics researches”, “Computational mathematics and programming” courses. Gives practical, seminar and laboratory lessons for students with Ukrainian, Russian and English languages of studying. Coauthor of 4 textbooks (Basics of computer modeling in pharmaceutical tasks using MathCAD : Manual for practical work / ZSMU, Zaporozye, 2014; Information Technology in Pharmacy : Textbook for Foreign Students / Kharkiv, NUPh: Golden Pages, 2013; Information Technology in Pharmacy : Textbook for Foreign students of medical and pharmaceutical universities / ZSMU, Zaporozye, 2007; Manual for practical work on database management systems : Textbook / Golden Pages, Kharkiv, 2006) and 7 methodical guidelines. Develops the “Computer technology in pharmacy” course for distance learning.

Scientific and Research work. In 2015 defended her PhD thesis in medical and biological informatics and cybernetics (engineering sciences) on topic “Models and methods of patient’s degree of severity assessment for physicians’ decision making support”. The author of 70 scientific, educational and methodical publications, and 8 certificates of authorship (patents). Her scientific interests are concentrated in the field of mathematical modeling of biological systems, information technology and data analysis methods application in medicine, pharmacy, economics.

Social activity. Individual member of Ukrainian Association “Computer Medicine”.
